Greetings, I have noticed this behaviour as well. What do you want to do with the contents of that attribute? Are they going to the output feature type at all? If not, try using an AttributeRemover. If they are going to the output feature type, see if an AttributeRenamer willwork for you. Jason

I do not define a link (I use the FME Workbench), but FME is although trying to write the content from the source-field to the target-field. I get the error message that the data-types do not match.
