We are running several workspaces in batch mode at the command line on
a scheduled basis. On the production server, Windows 2003, SP1, quad
processors, 4 GB of RAM, 20 GB free on C: drive, we are getting
sporadic MEM_BAD_POINTER SmartHeap Library errors for fme.exe. This
kills that batch process. If we re-run that batch, it most likely will
work, hence the sporadic nature of this error. If we run these through
Workbench, these errors do not occur. I tried setting compatibility
mode for fme.exe to Windows XP (since we have not seen this error on
these batch files on XP), but then FME will not execute at all saying
the license file is invalid.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Andy
