You are correct, you will end up with an "old" version, and a "new"
version in the same workspace. If you copy and paste an old version of
a transformer, you will get another copy of the old transformer.
We realize that this may be a little surprising, but it is the only way
we can realize our promise that an old workspace should always
absolutely 100% work with a new FME, while still adding new
(conflicting) functionality to transformers.
