Given all the conversations here recently, it's worth reiterating... OLDER WORKSPACES SHOULD ALWAYS WORK EXACTLY THE SAME IN NEWER FMEs.
Even (as in this case) where the transformer no longer exists, an existing copy of that transformer is still supported. Feeding a Creator from the command line looks like it will be fiendishly difficult. Old workspaces might work OK, but new ones will be tough to create using the same technique.
