Hello,
I have put a number of GUI directives in a mapping file that I was
hoping would prompt the user for various macro values. This works
well if I run the mapping file from the Universal Translator.
However, if I run the mapping file as a command line argument to the
FME executable, I do not get prompted with a GUI and I get an error
saying that certain macro values are not set. I do not want to use
the command-line macro arguments. I want a GUI to prompt the user.
Is there a way to force the GUI to appear when running the mapping
file as a command line argument? If not, is there any way to start up
the fmegui.exe application with a command line argument that would
tell the Universal Translator to start processing a specific mapping file?
Thanks,
Alfred
