Hi Simeon, Yes, the AffineWarper is best where the offset/alignment is a constant value. Where the offset varies then the RubberSheeter ought to be better. Depends on how the source data was obtained I guess.
> Is there some sort of constraint or limit I need to set or reset? Check the transformer parameters. There is a max distance setting I believe, beyond which control vectors won't have any effect. Obviously this value would be in your current coordinate system (ie if you're working in lat/long don't enter a value in metres). Then there must be an exponent setting - try the default value. I seem to recall the closer the value is to 1 the less effect there will be, so increase it to a really high number just to try prove something is happening. If that fails check the log to see what it is saying. There may be some sort of warning message that shows the reason for the lack of results. Hope this helps. If you have to send it in to Safe then be sure to include your FME version and build number so we can cross-reference against known issues for that release.
