Dear FME Forum
I am trying to create polygons around land parcels that are 4000sqm
or less and where there are 250 or more near each other. Because
the land parcels aren't completely contiguous (because of the roads)
I thought I would put a 200m buffer around each parcel and then
dissolve them into one large polygon.
The buffering part of the workbench works fine until it comes time
to dissolve and I get an error saying FME is out of memory.
I have the Dissolver set on "Overlaps" and I have tried the "Group
By" option but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
I found in the archives that this problem should be fixed in the
2006 version. However I am getting this problem in the 2006 version
too! The file with the buffered parcels is about 60MB.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I can send throught the file I'm
trying to dissolve if need be.
Regards
Louise
