Using FME 2006GB (Build 2651) you can set the attribute value to
@Value(attributename). The shortcut version ($attributename) does not
work.

Subject: [fme] ATTRIBUTECREATOR - value creator

Hi all!,
I am using AttributeCreator transformer to export data from smallworld
to microstation, and I wonder if its posible the value assigned to the
attribute created to be a value taken from a smallworld feature
attribute (as for example sw_text_string) and not a value supplied in
a direct way as a string character.

Thanks in advance for you kind cooperation

Best regards
Paco
