Suggest you double check that you are using a 3d seed file (the log
will tell you), and also that the attribute you are putting into the
3dforcer is not blank or non-numeric.  Indeed, I'd try just setting
the z to a constant value first, to be sure all is working.

This definitely should be working and is working for many folks.  If
you're still having problems, please send both the log file and the
workspace to us and we can look more closely (there's always the
chance we can blame the problem on the rich geometry guys:-)
