Hello FMEers,
There will be a few "10 year" celebrations for FME this year, but the
year starts with a very significant one.
Today is the 10th anniversary of the purchase of an FME Server edition
on Solaris by the National Land Survey of Sweden. This was the first
server FME outside of Western Canada, and really the first significant
international sale for Safe of any sort. What's more, it began a long
and fruitful partnership for Safe, with both the National Land Survey as
well as others such as ESRI Sweden (our first European reseller, and the
first partner company to offer FME training), LandFocus, and more
recently Sweco.
