Hi Paco, A quick suggestion - check the value in Excel for spaces at the end of the value. I've had issues before where values and field names have contained extra space characters that I wasn't aware of.
The cell format shouldn't make a difference in this case - in fact I don't believe the Excel reader makes use of that at all (because the API we use doesn't support that). A workaround (albeit an ugly one) would be to use the 'default value' field to map this (ie put the looked up result for Phase IIUnderground into the default value field, so that when the field is not recognized those features will get mapped using the default value). And of course if you think there is still a real problem with how FME is working, send your workspace + sample source data to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and we can check it out.
