Hi, Yes, I think. Text in FME always uses the lower-left corner. In MicroStation you can use a different origin (eg centre-centre) but - and here's the problem - MicroStation still stores the coordinates as the lower-left.
Check out the format attributes igds_insertion_x, igds_insertion_y and igds_insertion_z. I believe they will store the coordinates you need.
