Hello folks,

In case any of you are interested, we've made available a build of FME
2006 GB which is compatible with ArcGIS 9.2. FME 2006 GB came out before
ArcGIS 9.2 finalized, and so the original release could not be used with
ArcGIS 9.2 (most specifically, GB couldn't do File Geodatabase nor
extend ArcGIS 9.2 for direct access et). We've also had reports that at
least in some cases it cannot be used with ArcSDE 9.2 either.

Because we're still toiling away at getting FME 2007 wrapped up, and
that may take another couple of months, we felt it was necessary to get
something out for those of you that are moving to ArcGIS 9.2. So if you
go to our downloads page at
http://www.safe.com/support/downloads/index.php, you'll find a "FME 2006
GB for users of ArcGIS 9.2" link that will get you an updated GB build
that is ready to go for ArcGIS 9.2.

*BUT* we do not advise using this with any ArcGIS 9.1 installations, nor
ArcSDE 9.1.

One of the things we want to get nicely squared away for FME 2007 is how
we can support both 9.1 and 9.2 with the same FME installation. But for
GB, you need to pick your installation carefully.

Enjoy. And do let us know how it goes.
