Hi
I was looking for assistance with the following issue. I am having
difficulty with the use of the "ODBC 3.x Database (Attributes Only)"
source dataset.
I am trying to use a database table that exists within an SQL Server
database. When I supply the database user name and password, I am
presented with a table list.
The problem is that the tables in the returned ODBC Table List are
only those owned by database user "dbo", rather than infodbo
(infodbo being the user name that I am supplying). The ones owned by
infodbo are not visible to me.
Using the Microsoft SQL Server (attributes only) dataset produces
the same result.
I was wondering if there are any special requirements that need to
be set, either within SQL Server, or within FME, that would allow
these tables to become visible in the ODBC Table List. Explicit
Select permission on the tables in SQLServer has already been tried,
and does not address the problem.
SQL Server Version is SQL 2000, Service Pack 3. Client PC Operating
System is Windows XP Version 2002 SP 2; Server Operating System is
Windows 2000 Server Edition. FME Edition is FME 2006 (20051216 -
Build 2182))
Thanks
Jamie
