I just finished loading a lot of data in a MySQL spatial database and
setting up some FME workbenches to retrieve selections from it.
Basically I have this vision of a huge collection of data (1.5 Gb at the
moment actually) and FME as an interface to access that. I wrote a
little essay on how I set this all up and how pleased I am with the results:
