Hi Paul,
I saw this message just the other day but I'm struggling to remember
what the cause and (unfortunately) the solution were.

Ah - I remember. It was sending the wrong kind of geometry to the
output. So check what the destination feature type 'permitted
geometries' setting is, and use a GeometryFilter to make sure that
only features of that type are being sent.

Of course, if it works on one machine but not the other, this might be
a different problem. If it's a Windows 2003 server it fails on then
try turning off hyper-threading which has caused a few problems for FME.

If this fails too - and you have a current AMC - I'd suggest replacing
the GeoMedia writer with an FFS format writer, and sending the
resulting FFS file to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for us to try writing. Make
sure you include details of the platform and FME version so we can
duplicate the situation as close as possible,

Regards,

Mark
