HI Mark;

Just wondering is the a method in FME to produce shaded relief images from
these datasets?

Subject: [fme] Raster Technical Bulletin

The first of a number of these, since I'm a little behind...

As of FME 2007 beta build 4299 (20070224), ESRIASCIIGRID, USGSDEM or
CDED raster readers have been corrected to meet the standard raster
source feature type naming convention of using the reader type name.
Previously each read had used a specific hard-coded arbitrary feature
type name.

Unfortunately this leads to an issue with existing workspaces that
contain these readers. They will receive a warning about mismatched
feature type and feature names. The warning also suggests that the
feature type may have been renamed. This is indeed the case.

To resolve this message, you'll need to generate the source feature
types again. The new source feature type names should reflect the
reader name being employed. You can do this by replacing the reader
altogether, or you might try the new update feature type definitions
function.
