Hi folks, Just wanted to mention a great blog article on FME written by Alfred Sawatzky. Alfred's blog is dedicated to GE Smallworld, but he does often write about using FME to add value from Smallworld data extracts. This article will appeal to any FME user, whatever format they use.
http://sworldwatch.blogspot.com/ I also notice that we've added a couple of postings to the Safe blog since I last looked at it. See... http://spatial-etl.blogspot.com/ ...Don's article is particularly interesting given the lunchtime demo we had of upcoming FME Server functionality (and a lengthy corridor meeting in the Pro Services dept on semantics and ontologies)! Not sure I can reveal too much, but keep an eye out for FME Server news and demos because a lot of what was mentioned at the last user conference is becoming reality, and it's really incredible. Mark For insights into what's up at Safe Software and what's on the development horizon, visit Safe's blog at spatial-etl.blogspot.com. Safe Software has also made slides available that outline enhancements planned for FME 2007. The slides are from the "Road Ahead" presentation given on Day 2 of the FME Worldwide Users Conference.
