This is to let you know about Safe's activities around the upcoming
GeoTec event in Calgary.

Firstly, on the morning of May 14th there'll be a user conference at
the Fairmont Hotel. It will highlight what you can expect from FME
2007 and will give you an opportunity to hear from users and exchange
valuable information on getting the most from FME.

Secondly, on the afternoon of May 14th there'll be a half-day workshop
as part of the GeoTec event, at the Calgary Convention Centre.

Topic:           Making the Most of Spatial Data with Safe Software
Date:            Monday, May 14th from 1:00-5:00pm
Where:           Calgary Convention Centre, Room 111
                 138 8th Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta
Cost:            Compliments of Safe and GeoTec

This workshop will be presented by Dale Lutz, co-president, Safe
Software. The workshop will cover the four functional areas of Spatial
ETL (Extract Transform and Load) that are important for effective data
access – visualization, cleansing, transformation and federation. The
workshop will end with a problem solving session where workshop
participants will be able to put forth problems and issues they
encounter with spatial data.
