Hi folks, A technical bulletin to liven up that Friday afternoon... A new article on fmepedia details info on the Transformer Attribute Validation function that is introduced in FME2007.
This function checks attributes used by a transformer to make sure they still exist. If they don't then the transformer is flagged as incomplete and the workspace won't run. It's very useful in preventing mistakes and in helping to develop large workspaces. So here's a short article with a "need to know" if you've been using list attributes in an unexpected way... http://www.fmepedia.com/index.php/Transformer_Attribute_Validation Regards, Mark Mark Ireland, Senior Product Specialist Safe Software Inc.
