Just my two cents (I use Access 2000 mostly for reporting):
- Access has the most important feature that FMP is lacking: a
programming language. The Scriptmaker language is too limiting.
- Both Access and Filemaker seem to choke on large datasets.
- In both Access and Filemaker it's complicated to get an attractive
UI - for very different reasons. Filemaker basically offers a 1:m
view, Access offers more choices but looks so ugly.
- Filemaker is very limited, but what it can do it does well. Access
is more an allround solution, but it's sometimes a bit frustrating.

Where can I find a good comparison of FMP v. Access?
I went looking earlier today and everything I found was so out-
dated as to be considered worthless.
