Well, actually fuzzy logic is used with the fuzzy state machines that are
behind certain forms of AI.  I've never read about it being used with IDS
however, mostly just for game AI development.

Fuzzy logic has very little to do with artificial intelligence.

Asking the right question is an art, so, what exactly are you trying to
accomplice ?
