All we are saying is that firefox tends to be more secure compared to IE running in the same environment (i.e. priveleges and permissions). I am sure IE can be deployed in way to make it user-proof and secure. And I have done that using a Graphical Firewall called Citrix. Using graphical firewall, I made sure that the user unintententionally doesn't install any spyware/malware/adware etc. Having said that, I believe that any enterprise that wants to allow their users to browse the Internet, should use a contaiment / virtualization (e.g. Citrix) technology to limit the harm and the prevent the desktop from getting corrupted inadvertently. This is true whether you use Firefox or IE. > Now I'm no coder...but from threads I've seen....
