How would you know if your connection is VPN connection? I just purchased (via a hotel hotspot provider) a 24-hr wireless VPN access but how do I know/verify that I am connected via VPN.
I thought my intel proset wireless client software or spectraguard will tell me that my connection is secured. Both tell me my connection is open. Thanks. danggit -----Original Message----- From: RetroWeb.net Server and Network Administration [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 19, 2006 8:17 AM To: Agent Zr0 Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Internet security on "hotspots" Agent Zr0 wrote: > I have a friend who is interested in better securing her laptop while > she's out surfing the net at coffeehouses ... She could look into hard disk encryption to, if she has any sensitive data on there.
