If I may just get up from my lurker stool: I work in a hospital which, of course, has machines on 24/7, however, I have my GPO set to automatically reboot the computers at 3 AM. I do have a 15 minute countdown setup also so the users have time to save their data. I'd rather not rely on a nurse to reboot a pc. Also, as we have not set up network storage for many of the users, we need the machines to be left on so the backup of their data can be run at night.

Anyone actually forcing reboots? t On 8/16/06 12:18 PM, "Jamie Fullerton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> spoketh to all: > Our current policy is that all stand-alone workstations have their > screensaver set to a 10 minute screensaver with the password required to > log back into the system.
