JEDDAH:
Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Judicial Council announced yesterday that Sunday, Dec.
7, would be the Day of Arafat and Monday, Dec. 8, Eid Al-Adha. According to a
statement carried by SPA, Saturday, Nov. 29, was Dul Hijjah 1 and that there
were 30 days in Dul Qaada “because the council did not receive any report of
moon sighting.”
