Technical and non-technical personnel of Oil & Gas Company who involves
in or concern with daily oil & gas facilities and equipment operation and maintenance,
oil & gas offshore facilities and structure operation and maintenance, those who
responsible of the integrity and continuity of oil & gas transportation through
pipeline system, pumping and compression and those who responsible to maintain pigging
and chemical injection into the pipeline
Course Objectives
This special practical approach course is designed to provide a
comprehensive understanding of oil & gas surface production operation
activities, production facilities and equipment used in the field, the
oil & gas processing principle, oil pumping and gas compression, pipeline
transportation system and how to maintain them. This course is intended to improve
personal skill and ability to operate, control, maintain and monitor the surface
production facilities and equipment, cleaning and pigging of the pipeline and its
related systems.
Program Summary
After completion of this practical approach course, participant will
better understand and get improvement on what the surface production
facilities are, how the surface production operation work, what the
function of each equipment involved, what their design features are, how to obtain and
maintain their continuous performance, how to avoid trouble during operation, how to
estimate the system performance and make simple operational calculation, and how to
maintain the whole system from corrosion attack, erosion, deposits and scale problems.
