Integrated Reservoir Characterization Techniques Date
:
12 – 16 July 2004 Venue:
Hotel Holiday Inn - Course
agenda is enclosed below. Actually this course had been also carried-out last
month, but due to the high demand, we decide to run it again this July. >From a
total of 16 (sixteen) seats provided for this July class, 8 (eight) seats have
been booked by overseas oil companies. For

RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION TECHNIQUES COURSE
AGENDA Date
& Venue The
Course will be held on 12 - 16 July 2004 at Holiday Inn Hotel - About
the Course Seismic
reservoir characterization is defined as the process of describing various
reservoir characteristics using seismic data. The knowledge on this subject is
vital for geoscientists and engineers who organized in multidisciplinary teams (MDT) scheme.
In this Course, the participants learn fundamental techniques in reservoir
engineering, reservoir geology and the reservoir geophysics. Emphasis is given
on the reservoir geophysics method and its relation with the reservoir
engineering and reservoir geology practices (detail course agenda is given in the opposite
page). The first day discusses the
geology and geophysics aspects as applied
in reservoir engineering practices. The second day is about the fundamentals on
reservoir geology. The third to fifth days are devoted to various basic
reservoir geophysics methods. The Course comprises of approximately 40% theory
and 60% practical exercises, in which 90% of the problem-set packages are Course
Language Course
will be given in English language. Information For
further information and registration please call/fax/e-mail to: Fitri Lestari
