Ya enggak sampai apel dengan jeruk lah Leo.....
Kita kan pasti cukup punya common sense setelah berkecimpung dikerjaan ini
cukup lama..... bandingkan dululah grafiknya ...apakah scalenya kelihatan
cukup setara ...kalau enggak kan bisa kita upscale dengan sederhana .....
ada banyak cara dan common sense yang bisa digunakan untuk akal akalan
sederhana ini .....
Kalau kita ketemu trend agak menarik baru kita kejar trend itu dengan lebih
bertanggung jawab misalnya pakai filter statistik (structur data tertentu
dibuang dll) dengan software canggih.... maksud saya sekali lagi jangan
sampai persoalan kita dengan software menghalangi kerjaan ...... dan kalau
memang tidak ada trend ya tidak ada trend ........kalau kita paksa paksa
pake logika berbelit nanti malah GIGO ......

Kalo xplot memang cukup menggunakan Excel. Tapi kalau membandingkan logged
property dengan inverted property lewat xplot, rasanya seperti
membandingkan
apel dengan jeruk. Karena itu perlu dilakukan proses filter untuk
menyamakan
bandwidth dari logged property dengan inverted property. Kalau yang ini
saya
nggak yakin apa Excel bisa.

kok pusing pusing amat sih .... kami disini kalau 'main main' sih cukup
pake excel aja .....
output dulu si inversi (atau litho cube atau dll) sepanjang trajectoire
wellborenya ...setalah itu bisa dimasukkan ke flash disk dan 'diadu'
dengan log apa saja dimana saja dan kapan saja (termasuk crossplot pake
tangan di kertas milimeter kalau mau atau tengah malam kalau lagi nggak
bisa
tidur bisa bikin xplot segala rupa )...
teknologi software bisa bisa saja sangat maju untuk membantu ini itu
...tapi
pada dasarnya xplot ya tetep xplot dengan excel kita juga bisa main main
merubah supportnya ( upscale, downscale, filter dll) kalau kita cukup tau
statistik .....
sungguh lho ....dengan metoda bodoh ini kalau memang trendnya ada akan
muncul ....biasanya trend trend yang menarik kemudian dipelajari lebih jauh
pake software canggih biar trend tsb bisa dipertanggung jawabkan.....

Kalau freeware, bisa pakai Scilab (Matlab versi keroyokan). Memang mesti
menulis program, tapi jauh lebih mudah daripada membuat script ataupun
bahasa
programming lainnya.

Kalo kita mau mencocokkan seismic/inversi dengan log tertentu dari well,
biasanya kalo nggak di desimate samplenya, atau dibikin log yang sudah
difilter lopass frekuensi.
supaya kita mendapat resolusi yg sama.
Kalo nggak pake commercial software tertentu.. bisa nggak sih kita
melakukannya? katakanlah di unix script atau di excell? atau ada freeware?

Tambahan: Merubah seismik ke domain yang sama dengan well log.
Mungkin sekilas tampak simple tapi yang terjadi banyak membuat interpreter
lebih mudah me-link dengan well data karena tidak perlu lagi pusing dengan
polarity seismik, zero or minimum phase, etc. Belum lagi kalo ketemu
vintage
yang berbeda.
Lebih jauh lagi, bisa lebih kuantitatif (eg. bright spot akibat coal atau
gas).
