Find it attached, it is pretty detailed. Best, Tania S?nchez Andrade. The Commissioner is responsible both for personal data protection and FOI and the emphasis of his work in the last 15 years has always been personal data protection. He receives lot more complaints in privacy issues than in FOI matters, but I can't tell you which is the cause and the effect. There is no separated budget for FOI in his office. Just to make the budgetary part more complicated he shares the overhead costs with three other ombudsmen as they're seated in the same building, but those costs are not included in the figures I attached. I have a meeting this coming Monday with the person in charge of these discussions in the treasury. I have to convince them to allocate a significant budget (the current Justice Ministry proposal talks about $1million) and human resources (the current proposal is for 7 people at year 1 and 10 at year 2). For this I would be grateful for any data about the budget and composition of similar agencies in your country. Notice that we are talking about an FOI unit and not general Information comission/unit. So if you have an information commission in general (data protection), then it would be helpful if you have information on the specific budget of its FOI section.
