Cynthia, Pagemaker 6 or above will take care of making pdf files for you. Just choose "Export" under the "File" menu. Much simpler than using Acrobat.
Don't know if you work on a Mac or a PC. If on a Mac, there's a neat little shareware utility called "Print to PDF" which you can use with any application. It's very simple to use. You don't even need Acrobat. Hope this helps.
