Ahh totally misunderstood the intent :)

for that matter then, are there non-x86 bootstrap targets that people care 
about? as soon as you can get your hands on the bootstrap version you're off to 
the races.

Is there anything more recent on the VPU than the source in the old idst / cola 
repo?
