Shades of REBOL. It says edn is "for the conveyance of values". Sassenrath was ahead of the curve with his "communication language". It seems like there's a convergence going on here and everything is starting to look the same (see Qt's QML, for example). For my own work, I went for the re-invent Lisp path and created a dialect of REBOL back before it was open source. -Karl
