Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to use a CID-Keyed font in a PostScript file. The goal is to be able to print Japanese characters on a banner sheet in a printer using CID-Keyed font. Assuming Unicode is used to print the contents of the banner sheet and a current system font dir (which contains non CID-Keyed fonts) say /sys/font exists, how should the CID-Key font elements (CMap, CFont, and other resources) be organized so that the PS file which defines the banner sheet can reference the font?

I happen to have what I think a CID-Keyed Font with the following sub-dirs in japanese/Resource : CIDFont, CMap, CompatibleFont, ProcSet etc. Say I wish to use a CIDfont, Ryumin-Light, with UniJIS-UTF8-H CMap, what should I do?

Thanks.

Will
