Since my last email I had made some changes:
1. setxkbmap -v lo -option "grp:Caps_toggle" (this becuase my Lao keysyms
was created in two levels. I can switch between Lao-English..)
2.With this option I was able to type English correctly.Then switch to Lao,
what i am getting in the Kedit or kbable is just am empty 'box' for Lao .
However, there are several of characters that I defined in the Lao keysyms
file which shown below( ie, period, comma, colon...):
key <AC01> {�������� [], [ 0x1000eb1 ]};
��� key <AC02> {�������� [], [ 0x1000eab,������ semicolon ]};
��� key <AC03> {�������� [], [ 0x1000e81,������ period ]};
��� key <AC04> {�������� [], [ 0x1000e94, comma�����]};
��� key <AC05> {�������� [], [ 0x1000ec0,������ colon ]};
��� key <AC06> {�������� [], [ 0x1000ec9,������ 0x1000eca ]};
��� key <AC07> {�������� [], [ 0x1000ec8,������ 0x1000ecb ]};
��� key <AC08> {�������� [], [ 0x1000eb2,������ exclam ]};
��� key <AC09> {�������� [], [ 0x1000eaa,������ question ]};
��� key <AC10> {�������� [], [ 0x1000ea7,������ percent ]};
��� key <AC11> {�������� [], [ 0x1000e87,������ equal ]};
I was able to type using SHIFT key and see (them) ;.,:?%= correctly
I work with several of UNICODE fonts like MS Arial, ClearlyU, Lao Unicode
but the result is still the same. By the way, i defined and export
LANG=en_US.UTF-8.
