Hello,
I have recently released a general purpose truetype sans-serif font under the GPL. I spent tons of time embedding bitmaps for all the small point sizes. It looks perfect on my windows box, but many people have said that it looks bad on linux.. From what they tell me it seems that the font renderer is not recognizing the embedded bitmaps and is reverting to the hinting instructions (which I didn't spend much time on).. Is this true?
