Yes, it would be nice if FreeType supported AA scaling of bitmaps; it's 
often better to AA-scale a Han bitmap than to attempt to use the outlines 
at modest sizes.

I would encourage any of you to give that a shot; FreeType is a remarkably 
clean piece of source.
