I was building fontconfig for Solaris because KDE now looks for it.
After I got it installed I was testing it out so I ran
fc-list helvetica
just to see what it did. The first time through it spit this out.
Helvetica:style=Oblique
Helvetica:style=Bold
Helvetica:style=Regular
Helvetica:style=Bold Oblique
However, I ran it again and it core dumped with a bus error.
It seems that as long as ~/.fonts.cache-1 exists then fc-list
core dumps.
