Sorry... didn't make notes. ;o/ I basically pulled the various apps together, experimented a bit with them, and made some mental thoughts on how I would approach the problem. Then yshao ported ttmkfdir to freetype2 solving a few problems, and then fixed a bunch more issues, making ttmkfdir much less of a priority problem for me. Then I caught wind of you working on mkfontscale, and decided to drop the ttmkfdir idea entirely and leech^Wgo with your generous contribution instead for the future. ;o) -- Mike A.
