Hi Owen, Good Day.
Now we have got Opentype enabled opensource fonts for Tamil. The announcement is here .. http://tamil.homelinux.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=21&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 And the fonts can be downloaded from here.. ftp://owl.physics.utoronto.ca/pub/venkat/gpl_tamil_opentype Will it be possible to bundle these fonts with XFree86 just like thai and other asian language fonts. The main advantage will be, Tamil fonts will automatically be picked by all distributions... Cheers., Prabu --- prabu anand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Owen, > > Thanks for the information.
