Hi Rob,
I concur that your patch fixes the NPE. However, I don't think the test file is
laid out correctly. "More Text" is not fully right aligned. It could be that
the variation factor not being applied is the cause of the incorrect placement
so further investigation to determine why it is null in this case is required.
