I notice in the Ant manual that there is a built-in task FixCRLF, which is potentially very useful. It replaces line endings according to the host OS convention, and allows for the replacement of tabs with spaces and vice-versa (although that is nasty unless string constants are exempt.) A nice feature of this task is that the replacements are allowed *in situ* - it is not necessary to copy to the build tree or elsewhere to get the transformations done. Peter -- Peter B.
