Path of font-metrics file

Hello,   When I run Fop, Fop does not fond the metric-font files that I generated  (In the userconfig.xml, I specified the path of the meric-font files). It works only if I put the metric-font files in the directory where I lauch FOP.   Could somebody tell me how  specifying the path of the metric-font files ?   Thank you for help !   Nam
