Thanks for your replys. I have found a solution:
First I did the following:
CompanyLogo/@src  <-- "file:" + file.getAbsolutePath();
and now I do:
CompanyLogo/@src  <-- file.toURL().toString();

That works!

You probably have a broken version of batik, it didn't handle relative
url's properly.
Current cvs has this fixed, you need both new fopand batik
