Hmmm, the text comes from user-input and I can't calculate where the page
break would be.... I'll try, but I think it won't work!

I'm not the specialist who could tell you what happens inside FO, but from a
practical point of view: Do you see a chance to split multi-page blocks into
smaller units at the block level?
