org/apache/batik/svg/GraphicsNodeRenderContext not found

           Summary: org/apache/batik/svg/GraphicsNodeRenderContext not found
           Product: Fop
           Version: 0.20.3
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: pdf renderer
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We use the following statements to generate a
pdf-file, but we got an
java class not found exception for
org/apache/batik/svg/GraphicsNodeRenderContext.

            java.io.Reader reader;
            reader = new StringReader(xml_fo);
            ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
            Driver FOPDriver = new Driver(new InputSource(reader), out);
            FOPDriver.setRenderer(FOPDriver.RENDER_PDF);
            // Tell FOP not to spit out any messages.
            MessageHandler.setOutputMethod(MessageHandler.NONE);
            FOPDriver.setupDefaultMappings();
            FOPDriver.run();

Our solution was to switch to an older batic.jar file
(not the one which is included in the fop .20.3 tar,)
and then it works.
