Hi, Patrick Yes, this would be useful. All you can do now is if you know the lines ahead of time; then you can use XSLT xsl:number if your source XML permits. But for what you are talking about, no, XSL formatting does not have a way of doing it, although one can certainly imagine an extension that extends layout for each LineArea.
