System.exit() calls in FOP kill Tomcat

First of all I don't believe System.exit() can hurt any  modern properly
configured servlet container, there is obvious security stuff.
Second: don't forget fop can be run as standalone application also.

All these are used when fop is running as standalone java application.

5)FOText.java
exit stuff removed as far back as in July.

6)BufferManager.java
This class was removed altogether at the same time.

7)SerializeHyphPattern.java
This one works during fop build.

Hence, the bug does fixed in cvs, wait for the next maintenance release or check
out cvs version.
