Can't tell for the Batang Font what's wrong there without seeing it. Do you get an error message when generating XML font metrics? If you're lucky, the bugfix will be in the 0.20.5 release. If not, you'll have to download FOP from CVS. See: http://xml.apache.org/fop/download.html For interested devs: The MetaNormal font had zero values for ascender and descender in the hhea table.
