I doubt we can fix your problem in the timeframe desired--and we don't make many changes to the maintenance branch (0.20.5) anymore--however, it may be helpful if you (1) attached to this bug a *minimal* XSL FO document that causes your problem to occur, and (2) attached the resultant PDF document that FOP created for you with (1), so we can see the problem. Of course, don't attach anything with sensitive information.
